The beginning
Seed & sow
Every punnet begins with seeds. Sowing brings the seeds into contact with a moist growing medium, where the journey starts.
The growing journey
A simple guide to the stages a living microgreen passes through. Timing and growing conditions differ between varieties.
The beginning
Every punnet begins with seeds. Sowing brings the seeds into contact with a moist growing medium, where the journey starts.
Beneath the surface
With suitable moisture and conditions, the seed begins to germinate. A root emerges and the young shoot starts to develop.
Into the light
As shoots emerge, light supports their growth and leaf development. This is the stage that first inspired our founder’s HND research.
Still growing
The microgreens remain rooted in their growing medium. They are supplied living, rather than pre-cut, ready for you to harvest.
At your table
Cut the edible shoots above the growing medium using clean scissors. Follow the care and food preparation guidance supplied with your punnet.
A living punnet keeps the shoots rooted until you are ready to snip them. It lets you bring the final step of the growing journey into your own kitchen.
Microgreens are enjoyed as young shoots. Growing time, appearance and care needs vary between radish, pea, sunflower and kale.
